  • Where are you located?
    We are a boutique inn located in downtown Bracebridge. Our address is 8 Mahaffy Court. We are in a quiet court off Ontario Street just a block away from the downtown shops and restaurants.
  • What are the check-in and check-out times for the hotel?
    Checkout times are anywhere up until 11am. Check in times are generally at 3pm. As the Front Desk opens at 9am every morning. If you check out before 9am, you can leave the key in the key drop box to the right of the reception desk.
  • Does the hotel have a parking facility?
    Yes. Parking is free during your stay, one car per room. We have 2 parking lots at our property, one next to the Hotel, along with an overflow lot that is a 30 second walk at the entrance of Mahaffy Court. We have restaurants onsite, when the food & beverage service is open, in the lunch and dinner rush hours, space is limited to park large trailers or boats, please inquire with our front desk for details.
  • What is your Deposit Fee?
    We don't collect deposit fee, we require a valid credit card to hold the room.
  • What is your Cancellation Policy?
    We require 72 hours notice of cancellation, if your reservation is canceled within 72 hours of your check-in date, we will charge the first night as the cancellation fee, as we won’t be able to resell your room with short notice. However, if your room is canceled within the free cancellation period, we will refund any deposit and cancel the reservation for you for free. We look forward to your next reservation.
  • What Amenities do you have?
    All rooms have a hotel size fridge and a microwave. Cooking is not allowed in the room. Netflix on our smart TV, we don’t use cable, you can watch unlimited TVs, movies, and documentaries on Netflix without commercials. Free high speed internet throughout the property. Continental breakfast Food & Drinks indoor or on the Best Patio with the fully upgraded Italian restaurant Basilico. Parlor area for guests to gather, movie nights running based on a schedule. Check with the Front Desk if your interested! There is a large deck positioned with an amazing view of the waterfront with places for seating and games such as chess. There is a trail going down to the wharf road next to Muskoka River, where there is swimming in the lake along with other activities. This is about a 4 minute walk. There are walking trails that are a 5 minute walk from the Inn crossing the Falls and showing some of the history of the great town of Bracebridge. Depending on the room you choose, some rooms have lake view and a balcony, some don’t. If you are booking directly on www.innatthefalls.ca, go to Rooms, all rooms with Lake View have a title beginning with Lake View. We are in downtown Bracebridge, it’s walking distance to all restaurants, stores on the main street.
  • Do you have free wifi?
    We offer free wifi to in-house guests. When you check into your rooms, you will notice Wifi information on a sign on the back of your door or on the desk.
  • Do you offer breakfast?
    Yes, we offer continental breakfast.
  • Do you offer Room Service?
    Yes, we offer room service from through onsite restaurant, please check hours of operation on Dining page. You may call the Front Desk for more information or call the restaurant directly.
  • Early check In?
    We try to accommodate early check-in as much as we can; however it depends on whether your room is occupied before you come, and how much time do we have to get your room ready for you. We cannot guarantee an early check-in, however we text you in the morning of your check-in date and ask for your estimated arrival time, and we will have a better idea at that time and we can confirm with you on that day. If you arrive early, and your room is not ready for early check in, you can leave your car in the parking lot and go for a walk nearby, and when your room is ready, we will call you and let you know.
  • Late Check In?
    In winter seasons, we might have reduced front desk hours. For any guests arriving after the front desk is closed, check-in instruction is sent to your phone prior to 3pm on your check-in date. In-house guests are supported 24x7, even after front desk is closed, you can call front desk phone 705-645-2245 to get support.
  • Check out Time?
    Regular check-out time is 11am.
  • Early Check Out?
    Front desk opens at 9am every morning. If you check out before 9am, you can leave the key in the key drop box to the right of the reception desk.
  • Late Check Out/Late Check Out Fee
    We accommodate late check-out as much as we can, however we need to get into the room asap and get it ready for next guests. The latest time we can accommodate late checkout without charge is 12pm at noon. If we don’t have guests checking into your room next, we are flexible to let you stay till 2pm, please check with our front desk in the morning of your check-out date, and $15/hour for late check-out accommodations is payable upon request.
  • Is the hotel pet-friendly?
    Yes! We allow guests to bring pets. A non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $50 plus HST will be charged per room per pet for your entire stay. As some of our guests are allergic to pets, please let the front desk know if you are bringing a pet so we can do more cleaning when you check out. If you are bringing 2 pets, the non-refundable cleaning fee would be $100 plus HST for your entire stay. When you book through our website www.innatthefalls.ca/rooms, please specify the number of pets so the pet fee will be calculated in the total price of the reservation. Please make sure to let us know about pets or your pet allergies. As some allergic symptoms are life threatening, we appreciate that you inform us.
  • Do you offer group rates?
    Please contact the front desk for more information to talk to the group booking agent. They are at the front desk from 9am to 5pm Sunday to Wednesday, and 9am - 9pm Thursday - Saturday.   • Is there a wedding venue available at the hotel?
    Yes, there are spaces to hold the ceremony, events before and after the wedding and rooms to stay, including a honeymoon suite. Call or email us for more details. Our email address is events@innatthefalls.ca
  • What type of events can the hotel host?

  • Can the hotel provide catering for events and weddings?
    Yes, we provide a catering service. Please call us to get more details!
  • Is there an on-site Italian restaurant at the hotel?
    Yes, there is an amazing Italian restaurant with a menu that is sure to please including artisan sandwiches, fresh pastas, pizza, steaks and more. All with fresh local ingredients.
  • Is there a bar or lounge area at the hotel?
    Yes, there is a bar at the Restaurant with an excellent selection of Wines, Beer, Cocktails and Mocktails.
  • Can guests make reservations for the restaurant in advance?
    Yes, the Front Desk can make a reservation for you or you can book on OpenTable yourself. We are here to please!
  • Can I bring my own food?
    We don't allow cooking in guest rooms, but there is are microwaves on the property and mini-fridges available to keep your food cold.
  • Which room should I book?
    Scenario 1: If you need one bed for 2 people, you have 3 choices: ​ Deluxe Room, this room is an economical option with comfortable bed and convenient amenities, however lake view from the room is not included. Lake View King Bed with Balcony, those rooms have a view of Muskoka River and a balcony with seating for you, this is our most popular room type. Lake View Suite with Balcony, this room is the fanciest one and popular too, this suite has two floors, the living room is on the first floor and leads to an outdoor balcony overlooking Muskoka River, and the bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. The bedroom upstairs has a Queen size bed. The living room downstairs has a pullout bed. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a shower in the bathroom. Scenario 2: If you need two beds, you have 3 options: Lake View queen beds with balcony, this room offers two queen beds, lake view and balcony. Deluxe Suite, this room comes with a King bed in the bedroom, a pull out bed in the living room, and one bathroom. You can view the Muskoka River from the living room window, but this room does not have a balcony. You will have the extra space you need if you are traveling with family. Lake View Suite with Balcony. This room is the fanciest one and popular too, this suite has two floors, the living room is on the first floor and leads to an outdoor balcony overlooking Muskoka River, and the bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. Scenario 3: If you need a room for 3 adults, or 2 adults and less than 2 kids, you have the following choices: Lake View queen beds with balcony, this room offers two queen beds, lake view and outdoor balcony. Deluxe Suite, this room comes with a King bed in the bedroom, a pull out bed in the living room, and one private bathroom. You can see the Muskoka River from the living room window, but this room does not have a balcony. You will have the extra space you need if you are traveling with family. Lake View Suite with Balcony. This room is the fanciest one and popular too, this suite has two floors, the living room is on the first floor and leads to an outdoor balcony overlooking Muskoka River, and the bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. The bedroom upstairs has a Queen size bed. The living room downstairs has a pullout bed. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a shower in the bathroom. Scenario 4: If you are inquiring for 4 and more people, you have the following options: Lake View queen beds with balcony, this room offers two queen beds, lake view and outdoor balcony. The maximum capacity for this room is 4 people, due to fire safety, we couldn’t accommodate more than 4 people in one room. Book 2 rooms. You can choose which two rooms you want, refer to scenario 1-3. If you need the 2 rooms next to each other, please call us or leave a special request in your booking, we will accommodate if we have 2 adjacent rooms for your stay.
  • How do I book a room?
    When you book directly on our website, you get 5% off your stay. The "Rooms" page shows you all the room types, rate and availability. Now if you put your check-in and check-out date on the box to the left of the page, and put number of adults and number of kids in the search box, and click search, our website shows you the price and availability of all the rooms that are available to you, click the “BOOK NOW” button next to the rooms you want to book, and follow the instructions, fill in your contact details and payment information. After you fill in all the information, click “Complete Checkout”, you will get a booking confirmation in the email you provide, and you are all set! Remember to sign up for the 5% book-direct coupon and input the coupon code and click Apply, your savings will be reflected on the reservation. Do you have special requests, such as flowers in the room, floor preference, if you do, please leave a note in the Special Requests box.
  • Do you have Handicap Rooms?
    We have 8 rooms on the ground floor, which are easily accessible. However the bathtub is not handicap accessible, so you would need assistance to get into the bathtub. ​ The rooms on the ground floor are 3 Deluxe rooms which are on a separate wing accessed from the parking lot, 2 Lake view queen beds with Balcony, and 3 Lake View King beds with Balcony. ​ Other Deluxe rooms, Deluxe suite, Lake View Suite are on the second floor of the Victorian House or lower floor of the Mews, we don’t have elevator access to rooms. Please make sure to put floor preference, early check-in, late check-in, late check-out on the special requests in the reservation, so that when our front desk agent assigns rooms, he/she can accommodate accordingly. If we couldn’t satisfy the request due to the availability, we will let you know on the same day or next day after you book.
  • Private bathroom?
    Yes, every room comes with its own private bathroom.
  • Where could I hike?
    There are plenty of trails in Bracebridge, such as Bracebridge Resource Management Area and Bracebridge Bay Park, which is next to us. People like walking along the Muskoka River. We also highly recommend Wilson’s Fall trail. We have a brochure with trails in all Muskoka towns at the front desk. When you check-in, we can lend it to you so you can check the details. You can also check out the local trails here.
  • What can we do in Muskoka?
    There are lots of things to do in Muskoka, in summer, you will find lots of water activities, kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, swimming, relaxing at beaches. And there are lots of hiking trails. Bracebridge main street has lots of stores to check out. You can also relax and enjoy the view at our property. Have a look at our Activities page for lots of local activities. You can ask our front desk agents if you have other questions.
  • Where is Bracebridge Falls?
    We are near Bracebridge Falls, which is actually a dam not a natural Fall. You can hear the Falls and enjoy the view of Muskoka River from our property.
  • Can we access lake from your property?
    Yes, we are near Muskoka River and have a trail going from our property down to the wharf road next to Muskoka River. It is approximately a 2-minute walk. We don’t have a dock on the Muskoka River, however guests could temporarily park their boat in the public dock of Muskoka River - inquire with the Town of Bracebridge for more information about boat parking. At the river, at the bottom of the trail, there is a popular public swimming area.
  • Where can I rent gear/equipment?
    There are two stores near us: (1) LIV OUTSIDE - Gear + Adventures, 271 Ecclestone Drive, Bracebridge (705) 646-0492; and (2) ALGONQUIN OUTFITTERS - 60 Manitoba St, Bracebridge (705) 645-9262 If you want to know the hours of operation, gear options, price and restrictions, it’s better to call the store directly and check with the store staff.
  • Can we do a camp fire?
    Our property is in town, we are surrounded by beautiful trees, for fire safety, we do not allow campfires or bonfires.
